This page covers what information reaches us through this website, what we do with it, and what we never do with it.
What we collect: only what you send us. This site has no accounts, no login, and no forms that save your information to a database. When you use the booking request form, it opens an email in your own mail app addressed to us; nothing is transmitted or stored until you choose to send that email. If you call, text, or email directly, we receive whatever you share: typically your name, phone number, email address, dates, group size, and trip preferences.
We use that information for exactly one thing: answering you and putting your trip together. Confirming dates, matching you with the right boat and captain, and coordinating the day. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to marketers. It stays between you and the family that runs the boats.
The site sets no cookies of its own and currently runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Like most websites, it loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from the cdnjs content delivery network; when your browser fetches those files, those services see your IP address as part of the request, the same as loading any image on the internet. Links to Facebook, Instagram, and Google Maps take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies once you are there.
Captains and mates often shoot photos during charters, and the best ones can end up in the gallery or on the fleet's social pages. If a photo of you or your group is on this site and you want it taken down, say the word: one call or email and it comes down, no questions.
Want to know what we have from a past conversation, or want it deleted? Email info@poppawahoo.com or call (954) 326-7360 and we will handle it. Since the site itself stores nothing, most requests are as simple as deleting an email thread. If our practices change, for example if online payments or analytics are added, this page changes with them, with a new effective date at the top.
No. What you send us is used to plan your trip and answer your questions, and for nothing else.
No. The booking form opens an email in your own mail app; the site itself has no database and saves nothing.
Yes. Call or email and it comes down promptly, no questions asked.
The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or ad trackers today. Fonts and icons load from standard CDNs, which see your IP address like any web request.
