The Poppa Wahoo Collective wants this website to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat that as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time checkbox.

What is in place

Every page has a skip link to the main content, a proper heading structure, and named landmarks. Images carry text alternatives. Text and background colors are checked against WCAG contrast minimums. Forms have visible labels, autocomplete hints, and clear error messages. Menus, accordions, and photo viewers work with a keyboard, and animation is reduced for visitors who ask their device for reduced motion. The site video is silent scenery footage with no speech or meaningful audio, so captions do not apply to it; if we ever publish video with speech, it will be captioned.

Known limitations

Fonts and icons load from third-party services we do not control, and linked platforms such as Google Maps, Facebook, and Instagram have their own accessibility practices. If any third-party content on this site gives you trouble, contact us and we will get you the same information another way.
